McKelvie Tech Ed Open House
Mark your calendar for TECH. ED. open house! Date: Wednesday, Feb 17 Time: 9 - 12 noon Location: McKelvie Intermediate School, Room 31 It's that time of year again! National Engineering Week is the week of our school vacation, so McKelvie would like to once again i nvite the public in to visit the Tech. Ed. program. Come see what your son/daughter has been learning in TECH. ED class! This pre-engineering class is a hands-on approach to learning about the design process and students build prototypes to try out their ideas! Grade 6 features: The Tech.Ed. Olympics with the Wind Powered Car event and the Basketball Launcher event. Google Draw is used for CAD drawings and the students love to draw on the computer! Grade 5 features: 3D drawings, roller coaster prototypes with twists, turns and upside down loops, Lego inventions, CODE on the computers, and spaghetti structures. Projects will be on display and students will be actively work
