Important: Parents, if you are paying for your child's yearbook with a check, please remember to make it payable to McKelvie Intermediate School, not Jostens Yearbook. All yearbook sales information can be found by clicking HERE .

A photographer will be here on the morning of Wednesday, January 31st, to take club photos for the yearbook. If your child is a member of a club this year, please make every effort possible to have him/her present and on time so they won't miss the photo.  We also will be taking individual photos of students who either missed the original/retake picture days or are new to the district since October 18, 2017.

Due to the school delay, the Geography Bee originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 23rd, has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 25th, at 9:30am in the cafeteria. Families are welcome to attend!

Under the direction of Nate Sawyer and Musical Director Rebecca Coughlin, the McKelvie Drama Club will be performing  Into the Woods, Jr.   Performances are  May 4th and 5th .  Audition dates are  Thursday , Feb 15th and  Friday, Feb 16th 3:30-5:30 . Please prepare a song of your choice (preferably a showtune, Disney or Choral piece) and be prepared to dance!!  Rehearsals are Mondays  3:30-5:00 , Tuesdays  3:30-5:30 , and Thursdays  3:30-5:30 . Students who are cast are expected to be at  all practices . Prompt pick up is expected at the Main Office doors.   Please click  HERE  to sign up for an audition time. Please  print this rehearsal schedule  and circle any conflicts your child has. They should bring this paper with them to their audition.

Intramural descriptions for Quarter 3 are posted on the McKelvie website under  Intramurals>Q3 Intramural Offerings  or by clicking the link below. Signups begin today, January 19th, at 5pm and will remain open  until filled or Friday, January 26th, at 3pm, whichever comes first .  All intramurals  will start during the week of January 29th and run until the week of March 26th.  Important Information to Parents:  We offered Soccer and Wrestling during Q1 and Q2; however, the coaches are unavailable to offer these sessions during Q3. Intramural offerings are determined each quarter based on facilitator/coach availability and each has its own maximum number of students. Please make sure that you  submit only ONE registration per intramural per student  as the registration forms are set up to shut down when the session maximum has been reached.
