McKelvie Student Council is hosting “Afternoon at the Movies” with a viewing of "Elf" on Tuesday, Dec. 10th, from 3:30-5:15pm. Pickup is at 5:15 sharp (A-J Main Entrance and K-Z at canopy). The event is free admission; however, donations are appreciated ($2.00 is great!). Snacks and water are available for $1 each.  Students must return this completed permission slip/ticket by December 10th.

Calling all budding artists! The McKelvie Yearbook Club is happy to announce its annual cover contest. One sixth grade and one fifth grade submission will be selected for the front and back covers and those winners will receive a free yearbook. All students are welcome to participate! Q2 Intramural Registration Info Registration for Q2 intramurals begins today, Monday,  November 4th, at 7pm.   Intramurals are filled on a first come, first served basis. To register, click the Intramurals tab on the McKelvie homepage. All of the registration forms are listed on this page.

The Bedford PTG is proud to announce our annual SKI, SKATE and MORE SALE!  This year’s event will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 9AM - 2PM at Bedford High School . New and used ski equipment, snowboards, winter boots, outerwear and more will be on sale from local area merchants and consignor families. This sale provides a cost-effective opportunity to outfit you and your family for the upcoming winter season! Turn your outgrown or gently used winter gear and apparel into some cash while also supporting Bedford schools. Visit PTG Website for consignment information. You can drop off your pre-tagged items at the BHS Gymnasium on Friday, November 22 between 5PM – 8PM.  Please note: If you need to print your tags on site at BHS during drop off, there will be a $1.00 charge per tag. McKelvie Clubs and Q1 Intramural Registration Info Registration for clubs and Q1 intramurals begins on Friday, September 13, at 7pm.   Clubs and intramurals are filled on a first come, first served basis and each facilitator manages his/her own registrations. Parent Information Night is Wednesday, May 22nd, from 6:30-8pm in the McKelvie cafeteria for parents of students who will be transitioning to McKelvie Intermediate School from Peter Woodbury, Riddle Brook, and Memorial schools.  The evening is designed to provide parents with a general overview of McKelvie Intermediate School. Student Council is excited to offer a viewing of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Tuesday, May 21st. The movie will begin after school and is scheduled to end by 5:45 pm. Students will be picked up at their usual parent pick-up place: last names A-J at the front office, K-Z at the canopy. Attendance is $2.00 and snacks can be purchased for $1.00. Students must give a printed and signed  permission slip  (also found on the McKelvie website) to homeroom teachers by May 21st in order to participate.

The McKelvie Maskers would like to invite you, your family and friends to see Frozen Jr. McKelvie is one of the first schools in the state to perform this just-released production. We are very excited! Shows are Friday, May 17th, at 7:00pm and Saturday, May 18th, at 1:00pm and 6:00pm.  Tickets are general seating and are $7.00 in advance or at the door. The last day to order a 18/19 McKelvie yearbook is Wednesday, April 10th. Books are $25 each and can be ordered online or cash/check payable to McKelvie Intermediate School. Signups begin on Monday, March 18th, at 5pm and will remain open until filled or Friday, March 22nd, at 3pm, whichever comes first. Important: All intramurals will start the week of March 25th and run until the week of May 24th. The McKelvie Drama Club is now open for auditions for this year's musical, Frozen, Jr.. Auditions will be Feb. 14th and 15th, from 3:30-5pm.  Please click  HERE  for additional information about Drama Club, as well as to sign up for auditions. Announcing the McKelvie’s Got Talent Show Auditions Auditions will take place after school Tuesday, Feb. 5th, for instruments only and Wednesday, February 6th,  for all other acts. The show will take place on March 6th at 6 pm. In order to try out, students must fill out this audition permission slip and return it to Mr. Brown by Monday, February 4th.  Everyone in your group must turn in a completed permission slip in order to audition.

McKelvie 18/19 Yearbook on Sale Now! Sales for the 18/19 McKelvie yearbook are underway and your student should have received an order envelope on Friday, January 18th. This year's theme is "Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti". Softcover books cost $25 each and there are two ways to order. The easiest way is to order online, but you can also bring in cash or check (payable to McKelvie Intermediate School) with an order envelope.
